Being an ethical business means being upfront and honest about our abilities and what reasonable expectations for training goals are. Many dog training companies love to make big, good sounding promises to help sell their business. The harm comes later when, once training is complete, those unrealistic or sometimes even completely unachievable goals are still not achieved. At Red Star K9 we understand that not every dog is capable of everything, and that's okay. We fix what we can, and create alternatives for what can't be fixed.
How Does Communication Based Training Work?
Communication based training works because it focuses on your ability to accurately and effectively communicate with your dog. We don't expect our children to learn from teachers who lack communication skills. Why should we expect our dogs to learn from us if we can't communicate with them? Learning these skills are key if you want to be able to teach your dog absolutely anything and everything from basic obedience to fun tricks.
