"Are you R+ or Balanced?"

     In short, neither! At Red Star K9 we pride ourselves on relationship based training that focuses on the dog and human in front of us. This means our training method can change from dog to dog. 

"What training tools do you use?"

     Every training tool is determined by the dog, as well as the handler's goals. We don't limit ourselves to one specific tool, or use any tool as a standard part of our program. We believe a training tool should be a tool to help us achieve our goals and better communicate with our dogs, not a crutch or a shortcut. We have experience using the following training tools on our dogs: martingale collars, slip leads, prong collars, and e-collars.

"What Breeds do you work with?"

     We Take any Breed any Age any Size, and have experience working with dogs as small as 4lb and up to 200lb. For us, our only limitations are the types of training you need. We do as much as we can, but no company can truly do it all, and do it all well.
